With nearly the entire US experiencing cccccold, California may be the exception to the cold. On Saturday, January 9, 2010, northern California was hit by a 6.5 EQ that hit a depth nearly 10 miles.

"According to the USGS, the quake hit at a depth of nearly 10 miles. Eight aftershocks followed in the three hours after the quake, the biggest registering at 6:21 p.m. PST at a magnitude of 4.5." The story is at Yahoo.

Orlando. Florida, on Saturday afternoon, was 35 degrees. The forecast for Miami is that the temperature will fall below freezing overnight. This must be quite a shock for Floridians, and tourists.

Are you suggesting, sis, that these are all signs of something? :wink

Sure am!! Adonai works through nature very often.

Is anybody listening? Does He have our attention yet? Listen up!! Are we watching for Him? Are we sharing His good news? The folks at this board are expecting Him at any time.

On Saturday morning, the news reported 24 degrees in New Orleans, 24 degrees in Orlando, and 36 degrees in Miami. We had cool five degrees here...No where close to the :cold temperatures in Minnesota!

The weather forecast is for 40 degrees in this area this this Thursday. This is going to be one very busy day for the car wash business.

Yes, we are paying attention. But the people of the earth will go on living as they have always lived, doing business, marrying, having kids, doing everything as usual, right up until the time of His appearing, just as in the days of Noah.

We see the signs and say, "Jesus is coming soon!"

They see the signs and say, "Huh. The government should do something about this. The sky is falling." And then they forget about it and go on with their lives.

We are finally experiencing a bit of a warm-up here in Minnesota. Of course, it's relative, too. That 21 degrees above zero this morning felt like I had moved to Miami! We're supposed to have highs in the upper 20s and low 30s the rest of the week, and "they" don't think we will be going below zero for the foreseeable future.

We had a very unusual rainstorm last night. This morning it is cool and somewhat damp but the pollution is all washed out of the air temporarily. I love to lay in bed at night and listen to the rain on the metal roof of our house. It is very comforting and last night I needed some comfort. I went to sleep thanking God for that small sign of of His presence.

Thanking the Lord with you for the comfort, bro! :bigpray He never sleeps! He's always there!

I have often heard the rain on the roof of a metal farm building when I'm working on somebody's windshield in there. It can be noisy! But it can be relaxing as well. And I'm sure your home is better insulated than a pole shed, isn't it, so it would be quieter?

The rain on the roof can be pleasant on a plain old asphalt-shingled roof as well.

Our house isn't much better insulated than a pole barn. We live in an old trailer built in the 70's. We were hoping to have the money to move to a real house after the adoption was finalized but we are still herebecause I am not working and we still have lawyer bills to pay. I like the rain on a metal roof because here in the desert we typically have a light rain that makes a soft patter rather than the loud thunking that a more heavy rain produces. It is like the soft voice of an angel singing. At any rate, I need to get back to my job searching. I just pray that we don't have to move back to Wisconsin for work.
